Specially brewed by Hobsons for the Severn Valley Railway and featuring a "Manor Class" engine on the label. The ideal gift for a railway and real ale enthusiast. As with all traditional beer or real ales a small amount of yeast is left in the bottle; it requires careful pouring. This real ale is brewed using Maris Otter pale ale malt, Amber malt, wheat, Hobsons yeast and finished with Challenger and Cascade hops. Alc. 4.2% Vol.

A mild ale, a very traditional beer style, from the brewer of CAMRA champion beer of 2007, an award Hobsons won for its cask Mild. This real ale celebrates Simon Evans, Cleobury Mortimer's famous rural postman. Brewed using Maris Otter pale malt, Dark Crystal malt and Pale Chocolate malt with caramel and vanilla and Fuggles and Goldings hops. Alc. 4.8% Vol.
A bottle-conditioned or real ale as are all Hobson's brews. Brewed using Maris Otter pale ale malted barley. Maris Otter is now a very old (over thirty years) barley variety but it still produces some of the best malts for the brewing of traditional beer available anywhere in the world, wheat, Hobsons yeast and finished with Worcestershire Goldings and Herefordshire Progress hops. Just like the great Abbey at Tintern, this traditional beer has underlying strength. The great Cistercian Abbey at Tintern was founded in 1131 by Walter de Clare, though the present building is of a later date.
